Crookes is a postcode where character really matters. The terraces climbing up South Road and Crookes Road are some of Sheffield's most photographed streets, and when a roof needs work here, doing it sympathetically matters. The original slates were Welsh, and we always quote like-for-like Welsh slate — despite Spanish slate being cheaper, it looks different and it doesn't last as long.
